For teens, TMC provides an opportunity to take part in an acclaimed statewide arts forum and strengthen resumes, college applications, and portfolios. For educators and community leaders, participating with TMC is no-cost and hassle-free. It simply requires you to be our voice and share these opportunities with your teens. Please sign TMC’s 'Letter of Support' below to serve as your organization’s TMC Liaison.
To Whom It May Concern:
We are an enthusiastic supporter of The Marble Collection (TMC) and share in its mission to cultivate creativity and excellence in the arts by engaging teen artists and writers in a publication process that affirms their voices and deepens their learning.
At a time of tightening education budgets, TMC supports teens in their creative endeavors and affirm their voices by giving them the experience of publication for real world audiences in The Marble Collection: Massachusetts High School Magazine of the Arts. TMC’s also offers one-to-one online and in-person Mentoring for Publication Workshops, in which teens are paired with college-level mentors, who guide their work to publication.
We look forward to partnering with TMC to promote participation and general awareness to the teens within our organization and community. As TMC's partner, we will champion TMC's mission by encouraging teens to partake in its free publishing and mentoring programs.
We believe that TMC's programs help Massachsuetts teen writers and artists discover their passions, build their confidence and life skills, and find inspiration to pursue their art beyond high school.
