To expand our reach, amplify our impact and strengthen the creative development of Massachusetts teens, TMC partners with nonprofit organizations that share in our mission to provide arts education to local youth. Our partners’ youth clients have the opportunity to submit their work for a chance at publication in The Marble Collection: Massachusetts High School Magazine of the Arts. Together, TMC and our partners will continue to enrich the lives of Massachusetts youth by offering arts education programs and fostering an environment of creative expression.

Books of Hope (BOH) is a literacy empowerment program that brings creative writing and spoken word workshops to at-risk, urban and immigrant youth in the communities where they live. Our mission is to develop the next generation of poets and writers. Through BOH, youth ages 13-23 learn to express themselves through the power of their own written and spoken words. BOH offers youth the opportunity to write, publish, and sell their own books of which they receive a portion of the book sales. Grub Street throws open its doors one Saturday each month, offering FREE creative writing workshops to Boston-area teenagers, ages 14 to 18. We also host intensive paid teen writing camps and a Summer Teen Writing Fellowship, which immerses high school students in the writer's life of creative craft and publishing. Our summer fellows work with published authors on original prose and poetry, meet with literary agents and editors, take field trips to inspirational locales like the ICA, and much more.
